So you’ve landed here — nice. You’re probably an MMA fan who’s tired of the same recycled fight news and clickbait.
And you might asking what should you expect to see in my site? That is what I will explain to you in this page.
In here, I break down fights with a mix of:
- 📊 Data & Stats — numbers that reveal the story behind the fight.
- 🥋 Martial Arts Knowledge — from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to wrestling transitions, grappling mostly (my base skills, I kinda know a bit about punching, footwork, movement, etc. but to compete with a guy with his main is striking base, I will get my ass clapped 😅).
- 🥊 Story — fight stories, fighter stories, because every fighter’s journey deserves more than “X got the win.”
If that sounds like your kind of fight night, you’re in the right corner.
👤 Who Runs This Blog?
Great question. Let’s break it down…
There are three versions of the guy you see (soft off), he’s behind of all:
- The Tough Guy – Been rolling in BJJ for 4–5 years. Definitely knows his armbars from his kimuras. Big fan of the UFC since 2014. Will 100% yell at the screen when someone gets caught in a triangle he saw coming 2 minutes ago.
- The Nerd – Lives in Excel sheets, Python scripts, and data dashboards. He’s the guy who’ll graph out a fighter’s takedown accuracy over the past 6 events… for fun. Probably has a spreadsheet for his protein intake too.
- The Hustler – Still rocking the old 9-to-5 but plotting the full-time blogger takeover. He’s the one keeping the lights on, building the site, writing the posts, and pretending everything’s fine when internet crashes.
Together, they form the glorious chaos that is DataCombatSport — where stats meet jabs, and nerds meet knuckle-draggers.
Actually if you want to read full of that guy story, you can see more in here. It’s nothing too crazy, just a normal guy who chasing his dream.
